Alkaline Body Balance – How Essential is a Balanced pH in the Body?

Alkaline Body Balance - How Essential is a Balanced pH in the Body? Our body has to maintain a balanced pH for it to stay healthy and functional. The optimum pH range should be 7.3-7.4 and the pH values of different body organs and tissues fall within this range. Alkaline body balance must be obtained for a healthier lifestyle.

To be able to have a healthy body, the blood pH must be maintained within 7.36-7.44, and this is a very narrow range. The blood is able to supply oxygen better with this range. If it exceeds over 7.44, the risk of getting illnesses and unwanted body condition are increased.

The pH is measured from the scale of 0 to 14. In a neutral solution, the pH is 7. The solution is said to be acidic if the pH is below 7. And if it is above 7, the pH is alkaline. Therefore, our blood must have an alkaline pH.

There are several ways on how our body reacts with the excess acidity or unbalanced pH. Our body has what we called buffers that neutralize the acid contents in the body. One example of this is the fat buffer system, which is LDL or low-density lipoprotein.

These fats bind acid from the lymph, blood and extracellular fluids. And the acids are excreted through urine. However, if there is too much acid deposited inside the body, the fat-bound acid will tend to be deposited into the thigh, stomach and hips resulting in obesity.

The other forms of buffer in the body are the salts. Salts such as magnesium, calcium and potassium neutralize excess acids. These are obtained from the tissues. However, if there is too much acid in the body, they neutralize even the muscles and bones. And this causes osteoporosis and other serious illnesses. Read the rest of this entry »

Body Balance Is Possible With Stronger Abdominal Muscles

Body Balance Is Possible With Stronger Abdominal MusclesThe abdominal muscles can work with more than just making a person’s chest look beautiful. They can also be used to help with improving the ability of the body to keep a proper level of balance going. Here is a closer look at how this can be made possible.

When the abs are powerful they will work to ensure that the back can be aligned properly. This includes working to get the spine to be straight and comfortable so that a person will feel healthy and without any back pains. These back pains can be very difficult for anyone to deal with because of how sharp they can be.

Also, the stronger muscles will be used to keep the body from feeling too top heavy or bottom heavy. This comes from how the balance in the body will work to keep the body at an even rate from top to bottom. This can be used to ensure that a person will have an easier time with moving the body around from one place to another.

There is also the fact that body balance can help to ensure that exercises can be easily handled by anyone. These exercises can be easy to handle when the body is able to work with a good level of balance. This is a big feature to see in that exercises that are performed with a body that has not been well balanced will not be effective. In fact, they can be done wrong and to the point where a person could put oneself at risk of being injured in the process.

Speaking of injuries it will be best to know that a proper body balance can get a person to avoid dealing with injuries that can come from having a poor posture. Dealing with a poor posture over a period of time can be tough to handle due to how the posture can cause different muscles around the abdominals to become weak. This can end up causing a person to become more susceptible to injuries. Read the rest of this entry »

The triceps are also not only easy to train with exercises such as dips, (body weight) overhead extension, and skull crushers but also tend to show results really quickly!

Lower Back

On the other hand, the lower back is probably the least trained muscle group of all. If any muscle should be trained, it’s this one. There are various reasons for neglecting this muscle group. Many people stick these exercises onto the end of their routine with abs training. When the workout is almost over, and one is tired out, even the abs will be denied a full effort. Usually the lower back is skipped all together. It doesn’t help that the lower back is trained for core balance, and injury prevention. Not for an aesthetic purpose. You’ll never get stopped on the street to be complimented on your toned lower back! Finally, the exercises to train this important muscle group may seem a little tedious, even uncomfortable.
